The Cuyahoga County Bar Association was founded in 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio, as the Cuyahoga Law Association. Its purposes included educational and social activities for local attorneys, and protection of civil rights. It is one of the largest bar associations in Ohio. The collection consists of minutes, the constitution, articles of incorporation, memorial resolutions, bar poll records, official bulletins, financial records, membership lists, dues lists, meeting announcements, agendas, reports, reform recommendations, bar issues, and correspondence and files relating to six cases concerning the unauthorized practice of law.
